    Coming north or south on I-79...
    * get on I-68 East. Take Exit 7 (Pierpont Road Exit).
    * At the end of the off-ramp turn left onto Rt. 119 North.
    * Stay on Route 119 North for 3.7 miles (through 3 lights, you will pass the Glenmark Center, Pines Country Club and Dairy Mart).
    * At 3.7 miles turn left onto Bakers Ridge Road (there will be a BFS on your left).
    * Go .4 mile, University High School on Right.

    * From I-68 West. Take Exit 7 (Pierpont Road Exit).

Head coach Ken Maisel has been coaching wrestling since 1990 and wrestled at WVU from 1986-90. University finished as state team champions in 2024 and state team runners-up in 2022 and 2023. They claimed NCAC team championship honors in 2001, 2004, 2010, and 2011. The Hawks were also the AAA Region 1 Champions in 2017, 2021, 2023, and 2024.

University is fed by Mountaineer Middle School, Westwood Middle School, and University Hawks Wrestling Club. Coach Maisel looks forward to a bright future with solid feeder programs in place.

For 2025, top returners include 2024 state place-winners Pepper Martin (SR, State Champ), Brock Kehler (SR, State Champ), Kaden Nieman (JR, 4th), Carter Pauley (SR, 4th), Rider Ludrosky (SR, 4th), Ryder Hastings (JR, 4th), Colton Gillespie (JR, 5th), Emerson Murphy (JR, 5th), Timmy Husk (JR, 6th), and Jackson Pate (SR, 6th).
