Regional seeding starts today and the word on the street is there are a lot of stellar records to sort through.
Some undefeated wrestler with ZERO significant matches on their 9-0 record could get the one seed while two battle tested, higher ranked wrestlers have to battle it out in the regional semifinals.

1. Head to Head (If tied, most recent win gets Higher Seed)
2. Common Opponent
3. Previous Season High School State Placer (Higher Place gets Higher Seed)
A. Same Weight Class
B. Different Weight Class
4. One season removed from previous season High School State Placer (Higher Place gets Higher Seed)
A. Same Weight Class
B. Different Weight Class
5. Previous Season Regional Champion
A. Same Weight Class
B. Different Weight Class

This is one reason why; with a Covid limited schedule, we made sure we prioritized matches against our fellow regional teams... may have limited “significant matches” but will help regional seeding.
