Annandale in Fairfax County, VA is hosting it's 1st Annual Preseason Bash on Saturday, September 7th!

Staggered weigh in and start times! Elementary and Middle School will be Madison system and round robin. HS is NFHS weights and also round robin, Open is current college weights and also round robin! Looking to get everyone 3-4 matches before the Super 32 early entry tournament on the 14th. We will combine weight classes if necessary to ensure everyone gets matches!

Date: Saturday, September 7th -
Open to K-12 athletes.
High school will be set weight classes (unless we need to combine) - We will run 5/6 mats all day! (3 downstairs and 2/3 upstairs!)

Admission: Concessions available ALL DAY Adults $7.00 and Students $5.00, coaches free with USA Wrestling Leaders card

Weigh-ins: K-8 will be from 7-8:30am on Saturday 9/7 with wrestling starting at 10am.
High school weigh-ins will be from 11am-12:30pm and start wrestling at 2pm.

Madison System will be used for everyone except High school!

Grades K-2 (Born in 2017-2019)
Grades 3-5 (Born in 2014-2016)

High School boys (106, 113, 120, 126, 132, 138, 144, 150, 157, 165, 175, 190, 215, 285)
Ladies High School (100, 107, 114, 120, 126, 132, 138, 145, 152, 165, 185, 235)
Open (125, 133, 141, 149, 157, 165, 174, 184, 197, 285)

FORMAT: Round Robin - we are looking to get everyone at least 3-4 matches. If groupings are big enough we will do separate pools and cross-bracket and place based on placement in the pool.

MATCH LENGTH: K-5 (3) 1 min periods. MS and HS will be (3) 1.5 minute periods - All OTs will be 1 min Sudden Death, 2- :30 second rideouts, then old school 30 second ride or die.

BRACKETS: Madison System and Round Robin for K-8, VHSL weights and Round Robin for HS

WRESTLING RULES: This is FOLKSTYLE will use NHFS Rules and Virginia Officials will be used. Each athlete must sign a waiver

UNIFORMS: One-piece singlet or a two-piece uniform are REQUIRED. Headgear optional and facial hair is ok.

ENTRY FEE: $35 (+plus online transactional fees for track) for pre register. $45 (+plus online transactional fees for track) at the door.
