A recruiting cornucopia at one dual meet

Last night I attended the West Allegheny (PA) v. Waynesburg (PA) high school dual meet. There was plenty of future college talent in that one match:

145- #1 Ty Waters (West Allegheny) *

160- #2 Shawn Taylor (West Allegheny) *
172- #1 Rocco Welsh (Waynesburg)**
189- #3 Brody Evans (Waynesburg)
285- #2 Noah Tustin (Waynesburg)

Pretty incredible for one high school dual meet.

*The two WVU recruits, Ty Waters and Shawn Taylor, both wrestled very well and are sound on their feet.

** Ohio State recruit.
*** Virginia Tech recruit.

Waynesburg is 26 miles from Morgantown. It would be nice to make some recruiting headway into that treasure trove.

I might be wrong, but I don't think that even happened when the prior wrestling coach's son was even on the Waynesburg team.
