Yep, 9 to 7 in the opening round.
Boyd went on and finished 2nd and lost to the champion 4 to 3.
After losing in the opening round, 5th place was the best Raike could do.............which he did.

Below are the complete results from yesterday. We ended the day with five top five finishers. Jordan Titus and Jeff Boyd led the way for us with second place finishes, Scott Joll finished third place, Dennis Robin came in fourth, and Caleb Dowling finished fifth. Once again, this was an Open where if you lost before the semifinals, the best you could do was fifth.

Yes. Derek went up 6-2 and then gassed due to a terrible weight cut. Hopefully lesson learned!
