Region 4 will be holding our regional tournament at Hurricane High School on Sunday, March 4th. If you are 11 or 12 and in middle school, you have the option to wrestle either the 12u division or middle school division. If you chose to wrestle 12u, you have to go to a WVYWA member club tournament before regionals. There will be no weight allowance at regionals and you will get 1 pound at states. So if they wrestle MS division...then do they have to wrestle at a Qualifying tournament to be able to wrestle states?

No, if they are wrestling middle school they do not need to attend a qualifier.
