As everyone who attended the tournament yesterday knows that there were issues at the beginning of the day involving trackwrestling, and I Jory Whorton want to apologize for the delay but give great applause to the parents and staff of the the Clarksburg Youth Wrestling team and the coaches from each team that jumped in to still make a quality tournament. In defense of all those involved, TrackWrestling experienced a nationwide crash that hindered this tournament and many national events across the country. The below email is what I received from the staff at trackwrestling:
We are extremely sorry and understand your frustration. We had server issues yesterday that we have not seen in the history of Trackwrestling and were out of our control. Our expectation is to provide the best product along with the best support and we know that did not happen yesterday.
Please know that we will do our best to fix this situation and get even better from here. We will not be invoicing any of yesterday's event for tournament costs. The only thing we will deduct would be the processing fees from any prereg credit card payments as those go to the CC company.
Again...we are very sorry.
Thanks

Issues At Clarksburg Jr. Panther Classic
Re: Issues At Clarksburg Jr. Panther Classic
Updated email from the President / CEO of Trackwrestling:
We regret to inform you that yesterday (December 19th, 2015) Trackwrestling experienced a catastrophic server outage and we wanted to follow up to give you an update on what happened.
Around 9:00 a.m. CST we began to experience a huge slow down in response times from our servers. We immediately started working on the issue and were all hands on deck trying to resolve the problem. We attempted to keep up with the influx of calls during this time, however we were quickly overwhelmed due to the circumstances. Around noon, CST we identified a problem with 2 of the servers in one of our hosting facilities. Once we removed those two servers from the communication loop, and everything started to return to normal.
This was the largest server outage in Trackwrestling history, and we want to apologize for how it impacted you yesterday. We are working very hard to ensure this doesn`t happen again. We also apologize if you called our support line and didn`t receive a call back. Your call is important to us, we simply couldn`t keep up with the volume of calls.
As a result of this outage, we are offering to eliminate the invoice for anyone who ran an event on Trackwrestling yesterday and was negatively impacted by this outage. All you have to do is submit a ticket @ http://www.trackwrestling.com/tickets and provide your invoice # and our support staff will take care of this for you.
If you have any further questions on this issue, please let us know. The success of your event is very important to us and we will do everything in our power to ensure this doesn`t happen again. Thank you for your patience and support and we look forward to providing you a much better experience in the future.
Thank you,
Justin Tritz
