Re: Individual rankings
Tried it once - after about three days of a beat b who beat c who beat a who got beat by d who did not wrestle any of the others, I gave up. Since so many schools either do not travel or see few other schools and the numbers of matches vary so much, it’s virtually impossible to do accurately. Example - One guy is 36-2 but has wrestled outstanding competition from 3 states but has no in state losses. Another guy is undefeated at 12-0 but has never left his County because the principal won’t allow it. They have never wrestled. Who has the higher ranking?

Re: Individual rankings
Brent Sams used to compile a "who's who" of WV middle school wrestling, but the last one I can find on WVmat is dated 2004-05. In lieu of compiling "rankings," perhaps something like this might be a better option. Wrestlers are listed by weight class, with various accolades such as tournament placings, but in alphabetical order.

Coach 108 that is a really cool list to look at and reminisce on.
Re: Individual rankings
Only way to do one would be for non parent non coach to watch an individual weight class for at least half a season then maybe a true list could be made
