WVU Wrestling Camp Recap

Camp season has come to a close in Morgantown! I just wanted to take a second and provide a quick recap and breakdown of the over 300 wrestlers who were in town.

Our most popular camp is team camp and this year seven different states were represented. Below are the states and the teams from those states.

Maryland: Liberty High School, Williamsport High School
Minnesota: Scott West High School
New York: Palmyra-Macedon High School, Rush-Henrietta High School
Ohio: Perkins High School, Solon High School, Wooster High School
Pennsylvania: Allerdice High School, Meadville High School, North Hills High School, Plum High School
Virginia: Annandale High School, Brentsville High School, Tuscarora High School
West Virginia: University High School

A number of schools from West Virginia, and other states, had 2-3 wrestlers, but the above teams had at least eight wrestlers or more. We hope to see more teams from around the state here next year. As you can see, you'll get to wrestle plenty of teams that you don't see during the season, you are guaranteed at least six duals, there are technique sessions led by all four of our coaches, and we also run a takedown tournament.

In the technique and intensive camps, we had wrestlers from the below states.
