Mountaineer Match-Up - January 17 & 18, 2020 @ Nathan Goff Armory

The Liberty-Harrison Mountaineers will again play host to the Mountaineer Match Up at the Nathan Goff Armory in Clarksburg this weekend.
Weigh In on Friday is at 2:00 with wrestling starting at 4:00.
Weigh In on Saturday at 8:00 with wrestling starting at 10:00.
Spectator Fee = $5.00
Spectator Seating will be on the upper level with designated handicap seating on the lower level. Mats will be set up and numbered in a fashion that fans will know where their teams will mainly be. Mat placement will be posted at the entrance to the stairs leading to the spectator seating. We will again be running 6 mats.

With the cancellation of the football program I didn’t realize that Notre dame had a team this year. Glad to see they’re still going.

They have a wrestler at 160 that caught my eye when reviewing the brackets of the Cameron Tournament.

This is a great tournament on the dual speaking aspect some good teams! And it’s always a well ran tournament!

Thanks to all the teams that attended. Congratulations to Braxton High for taking the overall title home. Also congratulations to Levi Brake, Nicholas County for being named Outstanding Wrestler 106-145 weight classes and to Jordan William, Braxton County named Outstanding Wrestler 152-285 weight classes.
We did not keep official scores at the tables, we encourage all teams to please submit their scores. It was a great, smooth tournament and we hope to see everyone back next year.
