HWC Spring Takedown/Camp Scholarship Event
K-12 Takedown Tournament
March 26th 2016
705 Thompson Drive Abingdon, VA 24210 (We are right on I-81, 2 hours from Beckley)

*All wrestlers will be entered into a drawing to win a $250 camp Scholarship*

*The team with the most registered wrestlers will have each wrestler entered into an additional drawing for another $250 Scholarship! HWC is not eligible to win this scholarship.

*Champions of each Wt. Class will be entered into an additional (3rd) drawing to win a $250 Scholarship! (We must have 300 registered wrestlers to award the Champion’s Scholarship)

*Camp Scholarships can be used for any wrestling camp of the winner’s choice! To redeem Scholarships, present HWC a receipt for any wrestling camp and we will reimburse the wrestler $250.

*Modified Folkstyle: One 4-minute period (continuous clock). Once a takedown is awarded the wrester will have 10-15 seconds to turn his opponent. If a turn is not imminent at that time, wrestlers will return to neutral position.

Check-in: 7:30-8:30am - Wrestling starts at 9:30am sharp!
Entry fee: $25
We can run up to 6 mats if needed. No breaks. Concessions all day.
Medals for top 3 of every weight class!

2nd – 3rd: 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 80, HW (105 max)
4th - 5th: 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 100, 110, 130, HW (155 max)
6th - 8th: 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 112, 119, 126, 135, 145, 155, 175, HW( 250 max)
H.S.: 98, 106, 113, 120, 126, 132, 138, 145, 152, 160, 170, 182, 195, 220, 285

Wrestlers are not registered until paid online. Must be registered by 3pm March 25th.

*All wrestlers must be within 2lbs of registered weight the morning of. A $35.00 re-bracket fee will be required to participate if over. No refund given.
*Tournament director reserves the right to combine weights if needed.
