We witnessed some great wrestling this weekend in Parkersburg and I'd personally like to thank all the teams that showed up and gave us fans something to look forward to for a change after the winter weather played havoc on wrestling.

The Indy/South dual was something that needs to continue in the future because both programs have excellent programs. Hats off to Indy for winning the WV Duals this weekend and displaying some excellent wrestling. The wrestlers from both teams wrestled hard and gave this ole fan an enjoyable time. Thank you for that.

The ones who schedule the wrestling for both schools need to work together and assure that these two teams meet again in the future.

Good to sit and talk with some of the Indy fans and coaches this weekend also. A fine group of people. Thanks for sharing a little insight with me on your hometown, your wrestlers and especially the laughs.

Ditto on what Gator said. Thanks for making the Indy- South dual happen. Fun to watch that one. A big thank you to Brent Sams and all who had a hand in putting this together. A good weekend of wrestling in our hometown. And I don't want to leave out the table workers. Saturday was a long day and except for a few clock mistakes the girls did a great job. Thanks to all who had a hand in this! Means a lot to this wrestling fan.

Coaches Dave Jeffrey and Chris Way puts it all together. They bring me along for the head scorekeeper. They deserve the credit for the Duals and putting their rival differences aside to bring a big event to Parkersburg. I hope they keep it going.
Also thanks for the teams that attended to put on a big show. This year I believe we crowned a true West Virginia Duals State Championship team. Congratulations to Independence. It would be nice for the SSAC or the State Coaches Association to recognize a state duals championship.
