I for one truly thought that the MOW would have came out of this weight class without any doubt. But, the choice to split it with Moore and Robertson was okay too I suppose. After all, it was voted on by the coaches that watched the entire tournament. Lots of great wrestlers to consider....

I'm quite sure that he is being recruited by several schools and I know a lot of folks that would love to see Dalton at the next level. Me inclusive......but, not sure what his plans are. Wishing him the best of luck in whatever path he chooses to take.

How many WV grapplers have captured 200 wins ? A previous thread came up with very few if I recall. Bennett, Jeffries, Hull, Carson.....etc.

In my opinion.....This was one the most highly anticipated match ups in the entire tournament. Cox got the early lead. But, Michael was able to impose his will and stop the offense that Cox always brings and mastermind two take downs of his own to win his second state title. Outstanding finals match...

Wrestlingmaster.........I saw both matches as well between Shuman and Michael. Both tough as nails, wrestle with pride and very determined !! But, I have to agree with RU4R.......
152 lb wt class will be worth the price of admission. Just my opinion

I think that you are misunderstood as to the purpose of these rankings. I doubt that they could ever be 100% correct until ...

Very interesting thread to start the season. But, a good one at that....... I believe that the Dutton is only awarded to a senior...... I also agree that other tourneys should be considered as well such as the Winners choice, WSAZs, NHSCA etc..... Lucas Simpkins 3 time state finalist w/title Dalton ...
