Then this begs the question: Does HS do away with 106? Is this a national trend of just WV? College has 10 weight classes, starting at 125. Does HS go to 12 (or 10)? Would this increase participation or just numbers within weight classes? I don't think decreasing the # of weight classes is the answ...

I agree, a 32 man bracket for AAA would solve the issue, use regionals for place seeding. Would require a new "pill" but that could be done with some effort. There would still be open slots for some weight classes, but it would bring more spectators in the first session (more $).

Brent, why don't you reserve Bearhugger a seat in the auxiliary gym near the concessions. ;) It depends on who is running the concession stand. The crew who ran it 2 years ago during the MSAC did not get my vote for "most outstanding concession stand". However, the gang at last seasons MS...

Yes, do the leg work and contact the colleges he is interested in that offer what he wants to major in. Once you make contact, see if they have any summer camps and attend those, so he can be seen in live situations by the coaches he will wrestle for. And he will get to see if they are who he wants ...

Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and kids under 18. If you've never been, its a neat venue to watch wrestling in.
