Re: Dutton Award
Not to disrespect or water down Mr.Quiocho's achievements, he's a fantastic wrestler and I'm sure he'll be successful at the next level (assuming he wants to pursue that path). But the fact he won it over Bartee, who won the head-to-head this year just shows the award more of a popularity contest t...

Re: AA State refs
Idk, I felt like there were some bad calls but overall I left feeling pretty decent about the performance of the officials. I thought they called stalling a little quick in certain circumstances but they were consistent and that's all I really ask for. There was a no takedown call in the finals wher...

That's a great mindset to have. Don't offer any sort of feedback or recommendation to improve. Just let them keep doing the same thing and they'll be gone in 6 months.
Pls just log off and go read a book.

Re: Mat Time - A West Virginia Wrestling Podcast - Episode 2
Just some feedback: I loved the podcast. One small issue: the intro music is really loud, I wouldn't mind if it was turned down a notch or two.
Great job and look forward to the next episode.

Jim Justice Wednesday Update - Fall sports pushed back to March 1
I think this was the correct choice if we want at least a chance of having a season. There is possibility that as March gets closer the numbers still won't permit a season but at least this way buys time for the vaccine to make an impact. What does this mean for Spring sports? Will we see wrestling ...

Re: Covid Map - Post Football Season
Need to move wrestling to spring. Better to give the kids a choice of what sport to choose than no choice at all. This is the solution. It is right here. The vaccine is on the way, buy time for people to get it and for it work. This guy (lady?) gets it. No need for it be complicated. Just move wres...

Re: WVSSAC Releases Wrestling Modifications
I said to myself I wasn’t going to comment on any of ignorance that took place in the rules interpretation meeting on Sunday but those that know me know that’s not going to happen. Ok here we go. Let’s start with weigh ins. Weigh ins for duals, tris and quads require they take place one hour prior ...

Re: AAA predictions
Agree. Anyone not putting Chapman as the champ at heavyweight is just trolling. I think the kid has lost once all year to Fraizer (1-0) so I don't see any other heavyweight in the state doing anything to him.

Re: Baddest Babe Award
Yeah, I got to agree with Pauley on this one. I don't like calling a high school girl "babe".
No sense to get weird and creepy with it.
Let's go with the "Erica Dye Award". Name it after the only female to make it to the state finals.
