Berkeley Springs from Region 1 to 2
Keyser from Region 1 to 2
Frankfort from Region 1 to 2
Doddridge from Region 2 to 1
Ritchie from Region 2 to 1
Grafton from Region 2 to 1
Roane from Region 2 to 4
Gimler from Region 4 to 2

I can see why Hess, Wood, and Lilly were a toss up. Lilly wrestled Hess and lost by major but Lilly never wrestled Hess to my knowledge.

If you ranked the regional champs it’s clear that Perdue and Nichols should be on different sides. They should’ve put Taylor and Nichols on the same side.

How did Nichols and Purdue on the same side? Purdue won Region 3 and Nichole Region 1. Why are they on the same side?

I’m all for doing this the right way, but we can’t ignore the fact that numbers are rising rapidly. Wrestling isn't a sport where you can take days off. We can’t afford to have these wrestlers to be in and out of the room and then maintain a weight, keep good conditioning and compete at a high-level...

I know state tournament seeding has been discussed multiple times on this forum (usually around this time of the year), but has there been discussions at the WVSSAC level of seeding the Regional Champions (i.e., Hybrid Pill) based upon the latest coaches rankings?

For many years Oak Glen has hosted a JV tournament the weekend prior to the OVAC tournament. The varsity is idle this weekend to rest up for the OVAC and so the varsity wrestlers and parents can help with the JV tournament.
